  August 31, 2017.  Join Headwaters Montana, American Rivers, Montana Trout Unlimited, the Flathead Lakers, National Parks Conservation Association and our guest for an evenning of films and discussion about how to make safer the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Rairroad shipment of highly flammable Bakken crude oil along the Middle Fork Flathead River, Whitefish Lake, and the communities of Columbia Falls and Whitefish.

Title: Oil and Water Don’t Mix

What: An evening of three short films about Montana rivers and a 4-member panel discussion about the threat of an oil spill in the Middle Fork Flathead River by oil trains.

When: Thursday, September 14, 6-9pm (Social hour starts at 6pm. Films at 7pm)

Where: FVCC, Art and Technology Building, Large Community Room

Cost: Free and open to the general public.  Light snacks and beverages.
