Climate Action Project
Our Climate Action Project
Humans have accelerated climate change. It's up to humans to address it. Headwaters Montana engages in educational work to help community members and political leaders understand their roles in addressing climate change, locally. We also work to show the impact unchecked warming could have on our water supply, wildlife populations and recreation-based economy. Through better understanding and action, we can do our part to curb global warming and prepare for the inevitable changes it will cause.
Roundtable on the Crown of the Continent
Headwaters Montana is a core member of the Roundtable on the Crown of the Continent. Part of the Roundtable's function is to help build the regional identity of the Crown so that citizens can meet important conservation goals, include the many challenges expected from climate change.
