Our Record of Public Comment

Citizens in northwest Montana started Headwaters Montana in 2006 in order to influence the management of public lands for the benefit of clean water, wildlife and traditional quiet use of those lands.  We have focused on the Flathead National Forest, Kootenai National Forest, and Glacier National Park in the U.S.  These public lands comprise about 5 million acres of national treasure.  We have also been the only local, grassroots conservation organization working directly with our Canadian neighbors to conserve the "Transboundary Flathead River" watershed - the North Fork Flathead River.  The following links will take you to our comments on a range of issue concerning this important geography. ~ Thanks for your interest!
