The Missing Piece Story Comes to Polebridge, July 26

June 30, 2014.  We want to let you know about the North Fork Preservation Association's  annual meeting and potluck dinner, Saturday, July 26, at Sondreson Hall, 11 miles north of Polebridge. (Click poster for larger view.)

The NFPA has been a close friend and a major donor to  Headwaters Montana.  But much more importantly, NFPA has been the 'point of the spear' as watchdog over the North Fork River Valley for decades, since 1982.

NFPA has kept the North Fork's gravel road from getting paved, the coal in the ground, and suburban sprawl from spoiling this wildest valley in the Lower 48.

Harvey Locke, one of Caanada's leading conservationist, will give the key note talk on "The Missing Piece: The Proposed Flathead National Park, Canada."  Singer/Songwriter Sid Marty will also perform at the event.

Headwaters Montana is one of two U.S. organizations working to expand Waterton Lakes National Park into British Columbia.  We think 2014 is the auspicious year for this proposal!

Please join NFPA on Saturday, July 26, from 5:30-9:00pm.  Also, please remember, this is a potluck event.  If you come for dinner, please bring a dish to share with others!  You may also want to bring your own seating!!!

Please see the poster below for additional information.  Hope to see you there!

Cheers!
